COMMUNITY BASED PROGRAM
Provides young people, ages 13-21, the opportunity to develop in a community based, family environment in southern West Virginia. Each home has the capacity for 6-8 residents. Referrals are accepted through the West Virginia Department of Health & Human Resources.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

Utilization of modified House Parent model to provide a more consistent family atmosphere.

Supportive environment to help residents adjust and maintain positive and constructive behaviors in a community setting.

Attendance of local public schools.

College-age students have access to local universities.

Participation in many community events and activities such as sports, youth groups, community employment, and charitable opportunities.

Opportunity to participate in both school-based and recreational team sports.

High School Equivalency Program available.

PRINCETON GROUP HOME

Capacity of 6-8 males.

Therapy services provided by local mental health professionals within the community.

Residents attend Princeton High School or Princeton Middle School.

High School Equivalency Program available through Mercer County Workforce Office.

Vocational education and night classes available through Princeton High School

Ability to attend Bluefield State College while maintaining a residence in the group home.

Located near many recreational activities including City Park, four additional community parks, pool, recreation center, and numerous recreation programs, and activities.
